(WSBT)  Another round of storms passed through Wednesday evening, with the worst damage centered in Elkhart county.

Heavy rains and strong winds tore down trees and power lines.

Winds tore the roof from the River Run apartments on Monroe street in Elkhart, with rain pouring through the ceiling.

Some of the worst damage was in a small area south of Goshen, along State Road 19.

One woman taking a nap woke up to find the roof torn from her house.

A neighbor's roof was wound up more than 100-yards away in a farm field.

Power poles were ripped from the ground along State Road 19.

As of midnight Wednesday, about 130 Indiana Michigan power customers were without service in Saint Joseph county, with a similar number in Elkhart county.
